GPAHE Brings You the Latest News in Far-Right Hate and Extremism
Project 2025 Is Here: June 18th
This week, we look at how a Michigan librarian is standing her ground amidst threats and harassment from a member of Moms For Liberty, the Trump administration’s quashing of opposition to his deportation machine, and how Project 2025’s EPA policies are being enacted at the environment’s expense. We’ll also hear from Project 2025’s Kevin Roberts and Project 2025 supporter Charlie Kirk as they brazenly rail against immigration and multiculturalism, at times employing white supremacist terms as they shift the argument about immigration further to the right.
As authoritarian governance takes hold, GPAHE continues to expose the actors behind this movement, document the policy shifts underway, and provide critical tools for resisting the far-right’s dangerous agenda.
Our blog series provides essential updates on how Project 2025’s authoritarian blueprint is being enacted. Now you can view all of our Project 2025 blog posts in one convenient place on our website. We encourage you to explore this series to stay informed and engaged.

New from GPAHE: Political Violence Escalates as Democratic Lawmakers and Pro-Democracy Protesters Are Violently Targeted
On June 14, millions across the U.S. protested against Trump’s authoritarian agenda during the “No Kings” rallies, with some facing aggressive police actions and violent attacks by far-right agitators, including multiple shootings, vehicular assaults, and other threats targeting protesters and lawmakers. Emboldened by Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric, groups like the Proud Boys actively sought to disrupt protests. And tragically, Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband were assassinated by a man likely influenced by Christian nationalism who also shot another lawmaker and his wife. The escalating violence underscores the deepening crisis of political extremism and the urgent threat to democracy and peaceful protest in America.

New from GPAHE: Radicalization and Assassination: Christian Nationalism and America’s Boiling Point
The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and the wounding of Sen. John Hoffman expose the deadly potential of America’s radical religious right. Vance Luther Boelter, a deeply religious man tied to far-right Christian institutions and conspiracy theories, allegedly carried out a targeted killing rooted in theological extremism. With connections to figures who inspired the January 6th insurrection and a manifesto-style hit list of Democratic lawmakers and reproductive rights advocates, Boelter’s case underscores the dangerous trajectory from spiritual warfare rhetoric to real-world violence, at a time when experts warn America is approaching a breaking point.

New from GPAHE: Neo-Nazi Teenagers Across America Starting Their Own Active Clubs
A dangerous new front in youth radicalization is spreading across the U.S., as neo-Nazi “Youth Clubs” modeled on the white supremacist Active Club network gain traction among teens aged 15 to 18. With at least 19 chapters representing 42 states, these groups engage in MMA training, propaganda campaigns, and recruitment on platforms like Telegram and TikTok. Drawing inspiration from violent figures like neo-Nazi Robert Rundo and echoing extremist conspiracies like the “Great Replacement,” this growing network is alarming evidence of how far-right ideology is targeting and mobilizing a new generation.

NPR: – Who’s welcome in the US?
“The gloves are completely off. What it really is is a deeply racist plan to keep white people separate from nonwhite people and to make sure that so-called Western civilization remains strong,” GPAHE co-founder Wendy Via said, regarding the U.S. State Department’s plan to create an Office of Remigration.
GPAHE’S take: The push for an official Office of Remigration and Trump’s repeated use of the term signal more than just rhetoric — they reflect a dangerous mainstreaming of white nationalist ideology. As GPAHE’s research shows, “remigration” is not a neutral immigration policy but a call for ethnic cleansing, an idea developed by European white supremacists to forcibly remove non-white populations, even those with citizenship. That this concept is now openly embraced by U.S. political figures marks an alarming shift and a dangerous preview of what could come.

The Guardian – How a Pentagon account on X became Pete Hegseth’s personal cheerleader
“Hegseth’s recent decision to change the name of a navy boat that had been christened for the LGBTQ+ rights pioneer Harvey Milk, shows you where he’s coming from,” Heidi Beirich, co-founder of GPAHE said. “He and his Christian nationalist allies are anti-LGBTQ and specifically anti-trans and they are pushing their religious agenda on the services.”
GPAHE’S take: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has transformed the Pentagon’s official social media presence into a partisan platform that aggressively attacks journalists, promotes Christian nationalist ideology, and elevates his own image. Under his direction, the Pentagon’s “rapid response team” on X/Twitter has resurrected a digital strategy reminiscent of past propaganda efforts, fueling disinformation and pushing a controversial religious agenda within the military. This shift is a dangerous fusion of politics, faith, and military communications.
