Global Alliance calls on the EC to enforce the Digital Services Act: Online Incendiary Political Speech Poses Systemic Risks
In an open letter to the European Commission, the Global Alliance Against Digital Hate and Extremism (GAADHE)—a coalition of over 70 human rights and pro-democracy organizations—calls for strict enforcement of the Digital Services Act (DSA), warning that unmoderated political speech on major platforms is fueling disinformation, hate, violence, and antidemocratic ideals worldwide. The letter condemns U.S. efforts to undermine the DSA by framing enforcement as a threat to free speech, arguing instead that protecting democracies requires holding even the politically powerful accountable online.

Zohran Mamdani’s victory in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary has triggered a rise in anti-Muslim rhetoric from far-right figures and extremist groups. Hateful attacks—including calls for deportation and conspiratorial accusations rooted in the white supremacist “Great Replacement” conspiracy theory—have been amplified by Trump allies, including his domestic advisor Stephen Miller, Rep. Andy Ogles, and Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk. GPAHE’s reporting reveals growing anti-Muslim bigotry in American politics, where Muslim public figures are routinely targeted with racist threats and disinformation campaigns.

Newsweek – Warning Issued Over ‘Explosion’ of Neo Nazi Clubs in US
Newsweek covered GPAHE’s new investigative report which warns of a sharp rise in neo-Nazi Active Clubs across the U.S. and globally, calling the movement a “growing transnational threat.” In the U.S. alone, the number of groups has grown by nearly 60 percent. Founded by neo-Nazis Robert Rundo and Denis Kapustin, the decentralized network spreads hateful propaganda and trains its members in MMA fighting. New youth chapters specifically targeting teenagers are particularly troubling.

The Guardian – Revealed: the far-right, antisemitic men’s club network spreading across US
Heidi Beirich, co-founder of GPAHE, said the OGC (Old Glory Club) “appears to be another major new network of racists, too many of which are springing up in the era of Trump.” She said the group was “pushing violent ideologies, including race hate and antisemitism and has links to prominent figures on the far right.”
GPAHE’s take: A network of far-right, antisemitic men’s clubs known as the Old Glory Club has quietly expanded to at least 26 chapters across 20 U.S. states. With members including military personnel, lawyers, and government officials, the group promotes extremist ideology through in-person events, podcasts, and online media—reflecting the recent growth in white supremacist organizations.

South Dakota Searchlight – Republican South Dakota lawmaker removes ‘white boy summer’ social media post after criticism
You are not going to believe this: Earlier this month, a Republican lawmaker in South Dakota, Logan Manhart, posted a photo declaring, “It’s a white boy summer and the boys are back in charge. #MAGA,” repeating a viral racist meme popularized by actor Chet Hanks, that has been weaponized by racist groups including the Proud Boys and White Lives Matter, according to a research by GPAHE. The post sparked outrage from legislators who called it a “direct expression of racism and sexism.” Manhart, whose district includes tribal lands, refused to apologize for posting white supremacist material or the harm it creates, but he did ultimately take it down, changing the language to “Have a wonderful and festive SOUTH DAKOTA SUMMER.”
