Update on GPAHE’s Investigation: After GPAHE Report, Roblox Deplatforms Patriot Front Content but YouTube Refuses to Take Action

GPAHE’s take: Last month, GPAHE released an investigation into the far-right movement’s presence, including spreading their hateful propaganda and recruiting young people, on gaming platforms, including Roblox. Since the report’s release, GPAHE’s efforts to hold the gaming industry accountable have proved successful. As of now, five of six Roblox experiences linked to the white supremacy group “Patriot Youth” have been either temporarily or permanently deleted from the platform.

The infiltration of white-supremacy rhetoric has become mainstream across social media and is increasingly making its way into the video game industry. GPAHE will continue to monitor this growing trend and call on gaming companies to fulfill their duty of maintaining safe online spaces.

Politico: Trump allies prepare to infuse ‘Christian nationalism’ in second administration

“Trump is not a devout man of faith…Trump formed a political alliance with evangelicals during his first run for office, delivered them a six to three conservative majority on the Supreme Court and is now espousing the Christian right’s long-running argument that Christians are so severely persecuted that it necessitates a federal response.”

GPAHE’s take: GPAHE has been hard at work creating meticulously researched reports to shed light on the dangers of Project 2025 and the rise of far-right extremism within the US political landscape. The Christian Nationalist agenda is deeply and strategically woven into The Project’s policy plans put forth by The Heritage Foundation and a slew of other far-right organizations, including those pushing anti-human rights agendas.

USA Today: Huge database of far-right and extremist symbols updated

“The online catalog is a resource for anybody from concerned parents to schoolteachers to law enforcement to look up the ever-changing lexicon of extremist symbols and phrases.”

GPAHE’s take: This month, GPAHE announced that our database of global extremist symbols reached 750 entries, a major achievement since its launch last July. This work to compile and explain extremist symbols brings awareness to the growing networks of hate and extremist groups around the world –  important work we could not do without your support.

Associated Press: French mayors face violence and intimidation from xenophobic far-right groups

“The tactics used against French mayors in recent years go beyond the usual street protests and angry public meetings. They include violence and disinformation — and local demonstrations are often amplified by outside agitators…In France, like elsewhere in Europe, national identity has become a war cry for far-right political groups. They promote the idea that foreigners are stealing the riches of the nation through state handouts and that they will ultimately upend France’s traditional way of life.”

GPAHE’s take: We’ve reported on the disturbing trend of far-right actors violently attacking local French politicians and communities. At its core, the racist Great Replacement conspiracy theory fuels the violence we’re now seeing play out across the EU. Read our full Country Extremist Report on France to learn more about these active networks.
