His return to power underscores the normalization of extremist views within the Trump administration.

CNN International: Interview with Wendy Via, GPAHE co-founder- Marking the Deadly Oklahoma City Bombing’s 30th Anniversary.
“These organized neo Nazi groups, white supremacist groups, absolutely feel emboldened, as do individuals who might have harbored these bigoted thoughts. They now feel freer to express them…the idea that we can demonize communities has been normalized under Trump and his administration. It’s been coming for years, but it is blatant right now.” Wendy Via, co-founder of GPAHE said.
GPAHE’S take: In a CNN International interview marking the 30th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, Wendy Via, warns that bigotry has been normalized under Trump—through rhetoric, policy, and the rewriting of events like January 6. Via also raises alarm over the administration’s use of DEI as a pretext to dismantle programs to counter domestic extremism. “President Trump said violence is okay,” she says, highlighting the signal sent by pardoning January 6 insurrectionists on day one.

Raw Story: ‘Clearly dangerous’ Army reservist remains ready to deploy despite white nationalism probe
Heidi Beirich, co-founder of GPAHE, told Raw Story the Army’s process did not need to be so slow. “I don’t understand for the life of me why this hasn’t been concluded, and he hasn’t been tossed out,” Beirich said. “The evidence is so clear. What is taking so long to settle this? He’s clearly dangerous. He shouldn’t be affiliated with the military in any way whatsoever.”
GPAHE’S take: An Army reservist who organized a white nationalist paramilitary group and claimed ties to the KKK and neo-Nazi organizations remains eligible for deployment more than 18 months after the military launched an investigation. Despite clear evidence and growing concerns from his extremists ties, the Army has yet to act decisively—raising serious questions about how it handles threats from within its own ranks.
