Edward Jacob Lang (Jake Lang) is a white supremacist, convicted Capitol insurrectionist who, after being pardoned by Donald Trump for charges resulting from using a baseball bat to beat police officers on January 6, has spent his time engaging in vile racist and homophobic “activism,” mostly targeting Muslims. Lang’s brand of bigotry, which he carries out alongside his “crusaders,” relies on being provocative and harassing marginalized communities, including at council meetings, places of worship, and at protests. He regularly uses pig heads, Quran burnings, and violent language and has connections to white nationalists from across the country.
His public hatemongering is rooted in the white supremacist “Great Replacement” conspiracy theory, which purports that white people in western countries are being intentionally “replaced” by non-white immigrants and refugees. Lang is also a proponent of “remigration,” a call for ethnic cleansing, which is seen by white nationalists (and the State Department, which has has opened an Office of Remigration) as the solution to white people’s so-called “replacement.” The conspiracy theory has inspired at least 14 terrorist attacks on Muslims, Jews, Black people, Latinos, and other marginalized communities since 2017.
Lang leads a group called the “Crusaders,” which he describes as a “nationwide movement of believers, patriots, and neighbors – standing watch in every state, in every town, in every street.” He’s also attended protests under the group names “Americans Against Islamification” and “Protect White Americans.” Islamification, synonymous with Islamization, is a variant of the “Great Replacement” conspiracy theory which alleges that “white” countries are being taken over by Muslims, who are “replacing” white populations and culture with Sharia Law (it has also been referred to as “Eurabia.”) Lang had a website, whitereplacement.org, which now redirects to the “Crusaders” website. Lang will be hosting a “Remigration Today” summit on July 11, 2026 in Miami featuring far-right influencers and remigration advocates Ada Lluch (Spain) and Lorenzo Caccialupi (Italy), both of whom were speakers at the recent Identitarian Remigration Conferences in Livorno, Italy, and Porto, Portugal, respectively.
Lang was born in Narrowsburg, New York, on April 7, 1995, wrestled at Delaware Valley High School, and attended Hunter College in Manhattan for one year before dropping out. His first major act in politics was participating in the 2021 Capitol attack (a Facebook page belonging to his mother includes many “Stop the Steal” posts, a slogan associated with the Capitol riots). Lang was charged with using a baseball bat to beat officers who were protecting the Capitol entrance (the indictment listed eight charges, one of which was “assaulting, resisting or impeding police officers using a dangerous weapon and inflicting bodily injury on officers”). Following the attempted insurrection, and before he was arrested, Lang was “recruiting militia members to take up arms against the incoming Biden administration” on Telegram, a social media platform used by extremists. He spent four years in prison on pre-trial detention before being pardoned by Donald Trump in 2025, after which he launched his bigoted “activism.” As of June 2026, Lang resides in Lake Worth, Florida, and is currently facing a litany of charges, including making a terroristic threat, related to his racist stunts over the past year.
Timeline: A Year of Bigoted “Activism”
The Global Project Against Hate and Extremism (GPAHE) has documented Jake Lang’s actions over the past year, which include at least 19 public acts of hate against Muslims, Jews, and LGBTQ+ people, along with one planned conference in July 2026 with international speakers. Lang has taken his “crusade” nationwide, including in Michigan, Texas, California, and Minnesota. Several of these actions led to arrests and convictions.
July 11, 2026: Lang will be hosting a “Remigration Today” summit on July 11, 2026, in Miami featuring international influencers such as Ada Lluch (Spain) and Lorenzo Caccialupi (Italy), both of whom were speakers at white nationalist Remigration Conferences in Livorno, Italy, and Porto, Portugal, respectively. Other Americans speaking at the conference will be Joey Mannarino, Josh Seiter, Chance Milton, and Jeb Baugh. Mannarino is a MAGA influencer, who, speaking at the Remigration Summit’s “Influencer Panel” in Porto, said “get the freaking people who don’t belong in Europe and America out of these countries” and claimed migrants are “engaged in a war against us [white people].”
June 3, 2026: Lang claims that he paid for a truck to display an image saying “Deport 100 Million…Save America” and “White Lives Matter” on it.
June 2, 2026: Lang was kicked out of a school board hearing in Fort Worth, Texas, after complaining about a school principal wearing a hijab. In a video posted to X of him being escorted outby security, Lang said “we need to stop Sharia Law in Texas,” “these are not Americans,” “this is not what Americans look like or dress like,” “you guys are invaders…to our country,” and “go back you Muslims.”
June 1, 2026: Lang burned a Pride flag at the Newark ICE facility, where anti-ICE protests were happening, making an accompanying tweet saying, “If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to DEATH.” Lang also unfurled a banner advertising his whitereplacement.org website.

June 2026: Lang was arrested on an active criminal trespass warrant for allegedly breaking into the David Kykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, about the murder of Austin Metcalf.
May 19, 2026: Lang stood outside Wylie East High School in Wylie, Texas, speaking about “Muslim invaders” handing out free Qurans.
May 19, 2026: Lang spoke at a Frisco, Texas, city council meeting about proposals to build new places of worship for Muslims, Hindus, and Jains, saying, “Good evening Frisco-istan, what are you guys doing inviting the enemy?” and “These people don’t want to assimilate … if Jainism, if Hinduism is so great, why are their countries shitholes?” Lang was escorted from the council chambers by police officers, during which he yelled “If I lived in Texas, I would burn down one of these … mosques”
May 17, 2026: Lang’s “crusaders” did a banner drop at a Washington Nationals baseball game in Washington, D.C. The banner read, “deport 100+ million” and advertised a website called whitereplacement.org, which directs the user to Lang’s “Crusaders” website. The stunt was carried out during the team’s daily “Salute to Service,” which honors veterans and military personnel. The Washington Nationals identified and banned at least one individual from Nationals Park following the incident.

May 16, 2026: Lang attended British violent Islamophobe Tommy Robinson’s “Unite the Kingdom” rally in London, England. In an accompanying post on X, he said “WE THE PEOPLE ARE DEMANDING IMMEDIATE REMIGRATION OF ALL FOREIGN INVADERS!!!!”

May 11, 2026: Lang burned a Quran near Dearborn’s Islamic Center of America.
May 10, 2026: Lang was in a truck that drove past a group of crowd of demonstrators supporting Muslims in Hamtramck, Michigan. Those inside the truck were yelling at the crowd, and one person in the crowd hit the van with a stick. Lang later said he was “attacked” in Hamtramck.
March 20, 2026: Lang harassed several Muslims on their way to mosque near the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC) in Texas, saying “you look like you’re invading from a foreign country.”
March 7, 2026: Lang Led an anti-Muslim rally outside Gracie Mansion, the New York mayor’s official residence. He had around 20 followers with him. The demonstration, organized to protest the mayor, Zohran Mamdani, a Muslim, was called “Stop the Islamic Takeover of New York City.” He followed up with a post the next day saying “TOTAL MUSLIM REMIGRATION NOW.”

March 3, 2026: Lang announced he was in Minneapolis “bounty hunting” migrants.
January 17, 2026: Lang organized a small demonstration in Minneapolis called “March Against Minnesota Fraud,” targeting the Somali and, more broadly, Muslim communities. Lang said he intended to “burn a Quran” but, according to reports did not. Lang’s group was outnumbered by counterprotestors and driven away. The Minneapolis Police Department said officers gave a dispersal order but made no arrests.
January 4, 2026: Lang staged an antisemitic demonstration outside the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) headquarters, where he threw chocolate coins and reportedly performed a Roman salute, which in the Nazi regime was accompanied by “Sieg Heil.” (“Hail Victory”). Before leaving, he said, “That’s the AIPAC building right there. White Christian men are not gonna sit around while you turn our children into a bunch of n****r lovers.”
December 21, 2025: Burned a Quran in front of a banner that says “All I want for Christmas is remigration”
December 13, 2025: Lang organized a protest outside the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC) in Texas, which was running a weekly food distribution campaign. Lang’s “crusaders,” a group of anti-Muslim racists presumably named after the Iberian Crusades, a 700-year series of campaigns lead by Christians to “Reconquest” the Iberian peninsula from the Muslim Moors, attempted to block families from receiving food and attempted to disrupt a bi-monthly free clinic that the mosque provides. Lang screamed several Islamophobic slogans while holding up a severed pig’s head with a Quran in its mouth. During the demonstration, Lang said “You cannot stand against the strength of white American men…. I suggest you leave now before the crusades really start.” Lang raised over $15,000 for the protest through anonymous contributors.

November 18, 2025: Lang led his supporters to Dearborn, Michigan, to stage an anti-Muslim rally. Counterprotesters stopped him from lighting a Quran on fire. Instead, he put a slab of bacon on it. He did this in front of the Islamic Center of America. Lang is suing the city of Dearborn for $200 million, claiming the city’s police department failed to protect him as he exercised his First Amendment right to protest (someone grabbed the Quran out of his hand, thereby preventing him from burning it).
April 19, 2025: Lang and his group, “Protect White Americans,” staged a protest at David Kykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, about the murder of Austin Metcalf. Lang claimed the murder symbolized “violent Black culture.” Austin Metcalf’s father spoke to Lang on the phone during the protest, saying “you’re trying to create more race divide than bridging the gap,” and “I do not condone anything you do.” Metcalf asked Lang to remove his son’s portrait from Lang’s website. Lang responded by saying “That’s white guilt, you’re creating more Austin Metcalfs with your weakness, sir.”
Arrests and Convictions
Lang’s racist activism has led to numerous encounters with law enforcement. He has faced charges of property damage, threats against law enforcement, possession of a controlled substance, contempt of court, and a terroristic threat to place the public in fear of serious bodily injury. Lang has been convicted of several offenses.
June 9, 2026: Lang was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat to place the public in fear of serious bodily injury, interrupting public services, or influencing a government following repeated demonstrations in McKinney, Texas, during the Karmelo Anthony murder trial. Lang had made a post on social media saying if the jury did not find Karmelo Anthony guilty, that he “would take care of it himself.” During demonstrations, Lang also said “Karmelo Anthony should be hanging from that tree,” a reference to lynching, and “He won’t be playing basketball. I will be waiting outside this courthouse. Guess what? Headshot. Done.”. Lang is scheduled for a bond hearing on June 18, 2026.
June 2, 2026: Lang was arrested on an active criminal trespass warrant for allegedly breaking into David Kuykendall Stadium in 2025. He was released on a $7,500 bond on the condition he is prohibited from going within 200 feet of the Collin County, Texas, courthouse (where the Karmelo Anthony murder trial took place.)
May 21, 2026: Lang showed up to support Dalton Eatherly (“Chud The Builder”), a racist livestreamer who faces attempted murder charges after shooting a disabled Black veteran outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee. Lang was charged with contempt of court and, according to him, got the maximum sentence (10 days in prison).
May 11, 2026: Lang was charged with two cases of open burning (1st offense civil infraction) after burning a Quran near Dearborn’s Islamic Center of America. He is also charged with litter in a public or private place in city. The next court hearing related to these charges is scheduled for July 28, 2026.
May 10, 2026: Lang was arrested in Dearborn, Michigan, and charged with a civil infraction of operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile device. Officers found psychedelic mushrooms inside the rented U-Haul truck he was operating, which Lang said belonged to another “crusader,” Jayden Scott. Lang was charged with misdemeanor failure to display a valid license, operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile device, and possession of controlled substance. The next court hearing related to these charges is scheduled for July 28, 2026.
March 2026: Lang was charged with threatening a police officer for statements he made at an event celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Capitol riot (January 6, 2026) in Washington, D.C. At the event, Lang repeatedly threatened a Metropolitan Police Department commander. Lang said the commander is “a pitbull that needs to be put down…and hung right here in front of the capitol on national TV,” he “deserve(s) to be put down like a dead dog,” “public execution is the only solution for animals like you,” and “we will need to do more, drag him out by his ankles and throw him in the Potomac (River).” Lang was arrested and faced a misdemeanor charge in the D.C. Superior Court. He pleaded not guilty and then was issued a bench warrant in D.C. for missing a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 24, 2026.
February 5, 2026: In St. Paul, Minnesota, Lang vandalized an ice sculpture that said, “PROSECUTE ICE.” He removed letters to have the sculpture say “PRO ICE.” Lang was arrested and charged with first degree property damage and 2nd degree property damage because of bias towards an individual or group.The trial relating to these charges is scheduled for July 27, 2026.
Inroads with other extremists
While Lang’s stunts are usually done in public spaces, he also makes some podcast appearances with other extremists. He briefly ran his own podcasts called “American Revival” (2023) and “Golden Age” (2024-2025) with the “Blessed News Network,” an online media network owned by Lang. Lang co-hosted the “Golden Age” podcast with American far-right extremist Joey Mannarino, who has connections to the white nationalist Identitarian movement in Europe.
Lang has appeared on InfoWars with both former host and far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, and current host and far-right conspiracy theorist Harrison Smith. He’s also been a guest on the neo-Nazi GoyimTV with “Goyim Defense League” leader Jon Minadeo (“Handsome Truth”), conspiracy theorist and former People’s Party of Canada (PPC) candidate David Freiheit (“Viva Frei”), and misogynist and antisemitic influencer Hayden McDougall (“Woman Propaganda”).
Lang has met up with white supremacist Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio to call for the pardon of Derek Chauvin, the police officer who was convicted for the 2020 murder of George Floyd. Lang also met James O’Keefe, founder of the far-right conspiratorial outlet Project Veritas (he was removed amid allegations of “financial malfeasance” with donor money) and current leader of the O’Keefe Media Group.
