Project 2025 In Action

This week, we look at how more than 200 service members filed complaints after commanders framed the Iran war as God’s plan for Armageddon, how the Heritage Foundation drafted a model bill to bar undocumented children from public schools and six state legislatures filed it to overturn the first federal book ban, would let a Heritage-linked Christian homeschooling website decide what books belong in every public school library in the country.

This week, we look at an ICE attorney who resigned so he could tell Congress the agency is training cadets to break the law, federal agents in San Diego who detained church volunteers for praying in a hallway, and a pattern of Native American citizens getting grabbed by officers who don’t know what a tribal ID is. All three trace back to Project 2025.

This week, we look at the VA rule, straight out of Project 2025, that would slash disability ratings for 93,256 veterans by punishing people whose medication works. An Arizona state senator whose companies collected more than $3 million from Turning Point USA. And Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts told a podcast audience what comes next for gender-affirming care for adults: “You outlaw it.”

This week: Heritage’s former Project 2025 personnel recruiter now runs the gutted DHS civil rights office — the one responsible for investigating two American citizens killed by ICE in Minneapolis. The EPA rescinded the legal foundation for every federal climate regulation on the books. And the National Park Service finished erasing transgender people from the Stonewall National Monument.

This week: the federal government strips the word “racist” from visitor brochures at the monument to a civil rights leader whose killer bragged about the murder; professors are fired for teaching children’s literature; and “Schedule F” arrives, clearing the way for political appointees to fire civil servants at will.

This week we look at how Trump declared America will resume nuclear weapons testing for the first time in 33 years while his Department of Energy quietly gutted the radiation safety rules that have protected workers since 1954. Federal agents raided a Washington Post reporter’s home and arrested two journalists for covering a Minneapolis protest. And the Financial Times revealed that private contractors have collected $22 billion building Trump’s deportation machine.
